The Anti-Gravity Mystery
There was two pipes, one pipe was made out of plastic PBC, and the other pipe was made out of copper. Both pipe has the same length, and diameter. The two pipe itself isn’t magnetic either. We dropped 5 permanent magnet dow the two pipes.
Data
When we dropped the magnet down the plastic pipe it took an average 0.8 seconds to reach the end of the pipe. And when we dropped the magnet down the copper pipe it took the magnet an average about 3 seconds to reach the end of the pipe. It took 2.2 seconds longer for the magnet to all down the copper pipe.
Claim
When the magnet moves, electricity flows through the copper, the copper acts like a temporary magnet, this repel the magnet.
Reasoning
I believe my claim is true because when I saw the magnet slow down when its near a coil of wire.
